Ewa Roszkowska is a professor of economics and a faculty member at Bialystok University of Technology. Her research interests include modeling and supporting negotiations, multicriteria decision-making, game theory, social choice theory, the concept of social optimum, risk analysis methods, resolving social conflicts, and the application of multidimensional comparative analysis methods to model social phenomena.
In the years 2001-2002, she participated in the international research program "A Procedural Approach to Conflict Resolution: Designing Analytical Support for Interactive Group Decision Making," organized by the ZIF Institute at the University of Bielefeld. In 2002, she worked as a visiting professor at the University of Bielefeld. She is the author of over 110 scientific publications, including 2 monographs and more than 50 articles in national and international scientific journals. She publishes scientific articles in journals indexed on the Philadelphia List, including "Group Decision and Negotiation," "Quality and Quantity," and "European Journal of Operational Research." She also serves as a reviewer for journals such as "Group Decision and Negotiation," "Fuzzy Sets and Systems," "Information Sciences," "Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing," "Multiple Criteria Decision Making," "Econometrics," "Taxonomy," and the Scientific Journals of the University of Economics in Katowice. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Optimum Studia Ekonomiczne." She has participated in over 70 scientific conferences, including over 20 international ones. She is a member of international and national scientific associations: Euro Working Group on Multiple Criteria Decision Aiding, Euro Working Group on Group Decision and Negotiation, INFORMS Section on Group Decision and Negotiation, the Polish Mathematical Society, and the chairperson of the Podlaski Branch of the Polish Statistical Society. Shi is also vice-president of the Polish Chapter of INFORMS.
